The scenic byway on Highway 26 to the end of Keweenaw Peninsula is just about the most beautiful old road I’ve been on. It’s got to be crazy gorgeous around here in the Fall.

We stopped at the Jampot run by Society of St. John monks. I’m nuts for jams. I picked up golden raspberry jam, cherry butter, and thimbleberry. Caramels for the kids that reportedly are great and jalapeño caramel that I can report is surprisingly good. Richard S. – I have a dried fruit cake for you!
