Now that we are at cruising altitude between Ashland, WI and Porcupine Mountain State Park, MI, it was time to start up the in-flight service of Star Wars III and veggies with dill dip. Of course, the cockpit was served first.
Yes, we bolted through quaint Bayfield, waving hello. There was no way we are going to make it to Canada by Saturday at this rate. Bayfield, we’ll come back and visit another time. However, we did stop off in Ashland for the opposite of quaintness: iron ore docks and Walmart for dinner provisions. Roger spent $100 at the pump, that’s worth one night’s hotel, right?
Turns out the cabin passengers are changing to the Ewok scene in VI.
